Barred Business is building power among formerly and currently incarcerated people—and we want you with us. As a member, you’ll be part of a movement fighting for bailouts, housing, mentorship, financial empowerment, access
to education, and opportunities for justice-impacted entrepreneurs. Together, we’ll organize, advocate, and create lasting change.
Who Can Join?
Membership is open to:
Justice Impacted People; formerly and currently incarcerated, all people with convictions.
Family members of people who are currently or formerly incarcerated.
People from marginalized communities disproportionately harmed by the U.S. criminal legal system—including Black, Brown, Indigenous, and other people of color, LGBTQIA+ community members, and others impacted by mass incarceration.
